Each week I will present a new
Photoshop topic from any version of Photoshop (Elements, CS2, CS3,
Lightroom etc...)
These classes can be for anyone
from beginners to people who are familiar with Photoshop because
they will be on specific topics each week.
Photoshop Night will begin in
August and will be $20 per class. Time: 5:30-6:30

Introduction
to Adobe Photoshop Lightroom
This class will use Version 1.3 and
will focus on using Lightroom for photographers. Lightroom
is a new program by Adobe that is specifically designed for
photographers. It's easier to learn than Photoshop and can
process images in a shorter time. This class will be a
demonstration unless you have your own copy of Lightroom.

Preparation
Class for the Adobe
Photoshop Lightroom ACE Exam
The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom ACE Exam class
streamlines the task of studying for the corresponding Adobe
Certified Expert (ACE) certification. It does this by testing your
existing knowledge of Photoshop Lightroom and by helping you to
obtain the necessary knowledge required to pass the official exam.

Advanced Class: From Camera to Print! Learn fine art
printing and color management.
This class is for photographers who
would like to make better prints by improving their color
management techniques. This class is for students who are
willing to put in time, money and effort in to make fine quality
prints. Students taking this class will get the most out of
it if they have (or intend to purchase) a good quality photo
printer and a monitor/printer profiling device.

Homestead Gardens: $50
This workshop will include time
for photography and instruction from 7 am - 9:30 am. The
instruction will focus on using a tripod, white balance and
composition. Then we will travel to Southern New England
Computer Services where we will download and review our photos
from 10 am to 11 am.
Participants should be prepared
for the cold and bring their camera, camera's manual, and tripod.
(filters, remote releases and other accessories are optional)
You will also need to bring your camera's USB cable in order to
download photos to the computers.

This workshop will include time
for photography and instruction from 5 am - 8:00 am. Then
their will be a break for breakfast. The
instruction will focus on using a tripod, filters and
composition. Then we will travel to the Rhode Island NWR
Complex (50 Bend Rd, Charlestown) where we will download and review our photos
from 10 am to 1 pm.
Participants should be prepared
for the cold and bring their camera, camera's manual, and tripod.
(circular polarizing filter, neutral density filter, graduated
neutral density filter, remote shutter release and other accessories are optional)
You will also need to bring your camera's USB cable in order to
download photos to the computers. This class is geared for
photographers that have a digital SLR and you must also have a
Laptop computer.
